The safety and well-being of our clients is our highest priority, not only day to day, but especially in times of emergency.

Thanks to the generous support of our longtime partner, Providence, we’ve been able to provide life-saving Emergency Preparedness Kits to our homebound clients. These kits help ensure that clients are better equipped to stay safe during a natural disaster, power outage, or other unexpected event.

Each Emergency Preparedness Kit is a compact, easy-to-carry backpack filled with essential items, including:

• Emergency drinking water

• A 3,000-calorie emergency food ration

• A hand-squeezed flashlight (no batteries needed)

• A whistle

• A waterproof poncho

• A face covering

• A thermal survival blanket
