Help Us Get Meals Out the Door, Every Step of the Way

Volunteer in Operations with Meals on Wheels West to help set up, sort meals, distribute meal kits to those in need, and clean up after delivery. It’s hands-on work that keeps our entire delivery system running smoothly.

When: Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, 10:00 am – 2:30 pm

What You’ll Do:

• Set up the pop-up canopies and tables for delivery
• Pack supplemental items into grocery bags for the day’s delivery
• Unload and load meal delivery bags from the delivery truck
• Assist volunteers with their meal delivery bags
• Clean returned meal delivery bags

Requirements:

• All volunteers undergo and must pass a mandatory background check prior to volunteering
• Must be able to stand and work for 5 hours
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds
• Must wear closed toe shoes
